On January 27, 2022, Huatai Yongchuang (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. held its 2021 Work Summary and Commendation Conference. Members of the company’s leadership team and all employees participated via video conference, at the main venue in Anshan, Beijing venue and 30 project sites across the country. The conference was presided over by Chen Renmei, Deputy Director of the Administration Department, and presented awards to outstanding teams and individuals for the year 2021.

At the start of the conference, General Manager Han Dong delivered the 2021 annual work report, providing a comprehensive summary of the year’s achievements across 16 key areas. Notable highlights included: the company’s continued steady growth in performance, with new contract signings exceeding 3 billion yuan; the company’s independently developed “High-Efficiency Energy-Saving Vertical Heat Recovery Coking Oven Technology Development and Application”, which was recognized by industry experts as reaching an internationally leading level and went into operation on March 18, 2021; the company’s acquisition of Class A professional qualification in the metallurgical industry (coking and refractory engineering); and the smooth commencement of the first CDQ operation and maintenance project undertaken by the company. Huatai’s development has reached a new milestone, laying a solid foundation for its future growth!

General Manager Han Dong then outlined the company’s plans and priorities for 2022, noting that in the coming year, the company must intensify its research and development efforts and accelerate the commercialization of its scientific and technological achievements; identify new growth opportunities; emphasize the importance of safety and quality, promoting the concept of “safety for all”; strengthen recruitment and institutional development; and intensify management innovation, adapting management roles to the demands of the new environment.

General Manager Han Dong noted that looking back to our humble beginnings in 2011, we started with a small, understaffed team, limited resources, and daunting business challenges amidst fierce competition. However, under the leadership of Chairman Xu Lie, everyone persevered with clear goals, unwavering conviction, and mutual trust. The company not only survived but grew steadily, achieving the top market share in the CDQ sector for four consecutive years, with contract values exceeding 3 billion yuan and a workforce of 555 employees, while cultivating a strong core team. Chairman Xu Lie has now charted a visionary blueprint for the company to achieve 10 billion yuan in annual output value within the next decade. We must approach this with high morale and a spirit of dedication, contributing our full efforts to realize this ambitious vision, so that every employee at Huatai gains a deep sense of security, happiness, and belonging.

At the conference, company leaders presented awards to department-level outstanding workers in science and technology and outstanding individuals, company-level outstanding workers in science and technology, company-level outstanding workers in quality and outstanding individuals, company-level outstanding managers in science and technology, outstanding project managers and middle managers, as well as outstanding teams in science and technology and outstanding collectives. Huang Yuanhang, Deputy Project Manager of the CDQ Project Team at the Smart Coking Plant; Cai Jiying, Head of the Ventilation Division in the Public Utilities Office; Yang Zhiwei, Director of the Safety and Environmental Protection Department; and Chen Bencheng, Director of the Public Utilities Office, delivered speeches as representatives of company-level outstanding workers in science and technology, company-level outstanding individuals, outstanding middle managers, and outstanding collectives, respectively.

Finally, Chairman Xu Lie delivered an important speech. He briefly reviewed Huatai’s ten-year journey of development, from nothing to something, from small to large in size, and from weak to strong in presence, and provided an overarching summary and analysis of the company’s current situation. He emphasized the importance of institutional management and talent development, proposed the concept of “two-way talent development”, and urged young employees to shift their growth mindset from a passive to a proactive one so as to grow into the backbone of the company as soon as possible. He reiterated the importance of workplace safety and quality improvement, as well as the need to strengthen records management. He called on everyone to unite in purpose, strive for progress, and pioneer innovation. With scientific research as the driving force, safety as the cornerstone, quality as the guarantee, and management as the core, we must build high-quality projects and create distinctive industries, striving toward the goals of “10 billion yuan in output value” and becoming a “century-old enterprise”, and realize the company’s great mission as soon as possible!
